Jessica Pepp is a Burman Fellow in philosophy at Uppsala University in Sweden. She researches and publishes widely in philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of technology, and social philosophy. She holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles, an M.Phil. in philosophy from University College London, and an A.B. in Government from Harvard University. She has previously held academic appointments at McGill University (Canada), the University of Oslo (Norway), and Umeå University (Sweden), and she worked for several years in the financial sector before entering academia, including at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., Spencer Trask and Co., and Numeric Investors LP.
